"The Voice" App for accessibility ( UI )
I design this app because I wanted to help people who have difficulty speaking. I had a grandfather who had trouble speaking and as a family, had a difficult time understanding him. It was sad to see him struggle, so I designed this app to help be the "voice" of people. The app has tap / watch to speak, quick speak, text speaks, and voice recording. The app is for users with difficulty / who can not speak and can move their hands/fingers.
App Design
1. Home Screen
Library of pre-existing/recorded voice that can play or add a new recording. There are multiple pages of "voices"
2. Quick Speak
Users who can not speak but can move their fingers can use the "Quick Speak"! By sliding the icons to the phrases and holding, it will speak the phrases for the user. Add the "voices" to the wheel and customize as the way users wanted
3. Record
Users can record their voices and add them to their library. Also, the app has a "Wakie" where users can send "voice" to those who have the app. Like an instant voice message.
4. Tap
Users can "Tap" the phrases to speak. There are two sections each have its phrases and users can choose by tapping. In the end, push "speak" to voice the phrases
5. Text
Users can type the phrases and app will speak for the users.
